Today’s reading (John 2:13-35) is all about Yeshua’s passionate clearing of the Temple – his anger at people being taken advantage of financially when they were just trying to participate in the Pesach sacrifices. BUT…what stuck out to me was this verse – John 2:19 “Destroy this Temple,” Yeshua answered them, “and in three days I will raise it up.” – Yeshua spoke prophetically about his death and resurrection, years before it happened, but no one understood what he was saying – not until afterwards (John 2:21-22).
Do you find that to be the case in your life? G-d speaks to you through his word, or someone else, or life events, and it doesn’t make sense – until it does. Don’t let those nuggets pass you by.
