My heart is heavy today. The world we live in can be an ugly place. We have taken the beauty that God created and painted over it in broad strokes of hate, fear, and violence. The demonstrations in Charlottesville and the death of one and injury to many is a result of an act of violence caused by one thing – sin.
These are extreme examples of the effects of sin on a life devoid of the transformative power of God. We will never be free of this as long as there is sin in the world. But what if those of us who follow the Bible lived it these verses in radical and unmistakable ways? What would our world look like then?
